Join us for Thursday’s North Lunch featuring Lauren Coyne from Namasté Solar

Lauren Coyne, Co-Owner, Education & Outreach Manager for Namasté Solar will discuss her life story at the Women’s Chamber of Commerce North Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jun. 4 at Dave & Buster’s, 10667 Westminster #100, Westminster, CO.

The luncheon is sponsored by Wealth Management Partners, Mass Mutual Financial.  The cost is $27 for members and $37 for non-members and walk-ins.  Attendees can register online at https://cwcc.org/events.html.

Coyne is a co-owner and the Education and Outreach Manager for Namasté Solar.  According to Coyne, her position allows her to combine her passion for environmental issues, her desire to educate the public about renewable energy, and her entrepreneurial spirit.  She joined the company in 2007 with seven years of teaching and advocacy experience in Colorado and California.  Working as a field representative for a state assembly member during the California energy crisis, Coyne learned first-hand that renewable energy is a key solution for the future of energy, the environment, and the economy.

She returned home to Colorado in 2003.  Prior to joining Namasté Solar, she spent two years teaching sixth grade at Kent Denver School in Englewood and two years teaching middle school English at St. Anne’s Episcopal School in Denver.  Coyne volunteers on political campaigns and has been active in the passage of several important ballot issues, including Amendment 37 and FasTracks.  She holds a B.A in Environmental Studies and Public Policy from Dartmouth College.
