More About the Awards

Orchestrating Leadership
Orchestrating Leadership is an extraordinary example of effective leadership and mentorship in action. Since 2004, the CWCC has sponsored this event, which includes a "behind the scenes" glimpse of the Colorado Symphony in action with Conductor Laureate Marin Alsop tutoring the recipient of the Taki Concordia Conducting Fellowship in a mesmerizing private rehearsal. A luncheon follows the dress rehearsal where guests have the opportunity to interact with Alsop and the recipient.

Business Golf Series
The golf clinic is held in July and August and lasts four weeks. Participants first attend a three-week clinic focusing on improving golf skills while learning how to use the sport as a business tool. On the fourth week of the series, participants play on a par three to implement new practices followed by a networking happy hour event. This series is designed for all levels and helps business men and women improve their overall performance on the golf course in order to stay on top of their game in the sport and in business.
