It pays to go green

These days, green is the color to be.  Companies that jump on the eco-friendly bandwagon can capitalize on the hottest trend in business.  But Kermit might be right…it isn’t always easy being green.  How exactly do you become a green business?  Find out how during the educational seminar, Eco Made Easy: Simple Strategies for Growing Your Business Green from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 14 at the CWCC Offices, 1860 Blake St., Suite 810, Denver, CO.

Presenter Cyndi Muirhead, General Manager for Staples in Westminster, will demonstrate why “green” is not just good for the planet; it is also good for a business’ bottom-line.  Businesses can apply “green” principles to help reduce costs and differentiate a company brand with customers.  This presentation will provide practical strategies, personal accounts and local examples to help conserve energy, reduce waste, improve reputations, ignite employee engagement and demystify the sometimes confusing world of eco products and services.

The seminar is $10 for CWCC members and $15 for non-members and walk-ins.  Attendees can register online at www.cwcc.org.
