Member Profile: SCL Health

CWCC Member, SCL Health, has a relentless focus on delivering safe, high-quality, effective care and a deep commitment to social responsibility. In 2017, SCL Health invested $259.4 million in community benefit — 10 cents of every dollar they earn — to support health improvement in our communities.

Jackie Weinhold, Director of Business Development at Lutheran Medical Center (LMC), serves on the CWCC Board of Directors. She has partnered with the CWCC for more than five years on numerous events and programs and has a lot to say about SCL Health’s support of the CWCC mission.

“The CWCC is an important partner for SCL Health. Healthcare is a local service, therefore, we are rooted in the communities, governments and chamber organizations in the areas we serve,” said Weinhold. “We feel that CWCC membership offers great opportunities for our leaders and has provided our organization the opportunity to meaningfully engage with a diverse group of women and business leaders. Women are not only leaders within our organization but within the families we care for and we applaud CWCC’s unique ability to provide a forum for this important perspective.”

SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization, is dedicated to improving the health of the people and communities it serves. Founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1864, SCL Health provides comprehensive, coordinated care through eight hospitals, more than 100 physician clinics, and home health, hospice, mental health, and safety-net services primarily in Colorado and Montana.
From five-star birthing centers to comprehensive breast services, and convenient access to primary care and specialists alike, Lutheran Medical Center and SCL Health know women need personalized care, and our team will give you the individual attention and care you deserve.
