The Why – My goal is to establish and foster an environment where women support each, even if we find ourselves competing for the same positions and outcomes. When women support and invest in one another – our communities and our businesses succeed. Also, I do what I do because I know that so many people have so many talents to share, and can make a significant impact, if just given the chance. I know this as an immigrant, because at one time (along with my parents), I was not allowed opportunities because people could not see past the label they placed on me. This has resulted in a life-long,  relentless passion and vision for cultivating meaningful relationships, and at the same time, enabling others to reach the fullness of their own potential. What I do also makes good business sense, as there is an ongoing need to thoughtfully bridge business and civic engagement in a corporate environment, since businesses need to be good citizens of the communities in which they seek to thrive!
